Go check out CreativeLIVE – a web site that allows you to join online training for topics ranging from iPhoto 11 to business tips. Mostly aimed at photographers and videographers, you can view the live sessions for free, or pay to purchase a recorded version afterwards. On Thursday May 5th, we start the next series of PMUG College – free classes held on Thursday evenings. This six week session starts with Controlling Your Mac. On Thursday the 27th PMUG College topic will be iTunes. Learn about the features of this program that handles more than just music. Class starts at 7:15pm at the Friendship Masonic Lodge. 5626 NE Alameda St, Portland.
After discussion with the attendees of the current series of PMUG College classes, we are changing the topic for this week, Dec. 9th. We will show the applications in the iWork suite. This includes three programs – Pages (word processing and page layout), Numbers (spreadsheet) and Keynote (slideshow / presentation). Come join us at 5626 NE Alameda St, Portland; the class starts at 7:15pm.
