Dreamweaver

This class will use Dreamweaver to instruct students how to build a simple website using the supplied Dreamweaver templates and stylesheets. Students would need to install DRW 8 (or 9 if I have it by then) or already have it on their machines if they want to follow along during the class. We will
build a 3-4 page site, and I will show the steps to using the integrated
FTP tools of Dreamweaver, but obviously we will not upload the files.
Leopard Mac OSX 10.5

This is the class we really wanted to teach in the spring but with Apple moving the release date to October we couldn’t. Leopard: What’s new in this version of the Macintosh Operating System and why you will be excited to run it. The class will explore the new features, discuss hardware requirements and possible problems with older programs.
Saturday Afternoon (3 hour classes)
Getting the Most from Digital Images

This course will take you from your exposure to your final print using the adjustments in iPhoto and Photoshop Elements. You will learn to color correct, sharpen, straighten, crop, improve contrast and best of all, get rid of those pesky red eyes and other undesirables. There will even be a chance to print your work if time permits. This class is geared towards the beginning digital photographer but we will be getting into more advanced editing at the end of the session for those so inclined.

FileMaker Pro is the great database application for Macintosh users. What are the new features and what are the problems converting existing database files. Greg can also answer FileMaker Pro questions about SQL conversions for all those ex-PC database users.
