The cost of MacCamp starts at $189

MacCamp is a semi-annual event offering workshops, networking and camaraderie to Macintosh enthusiasts of all skill levels.

For this year's registration, we are offering special prices if you sign up early. The cost has gome up slightly so that we can continue to offer great meals.

If you are not a User Group Member, add $42 for a 1 year membership in PMUG.

The cost of MacCamp includes meals and sleeping accommodations from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch. You just need to bring your Macintosh, cords and software.

Saturday morning

iPhoto
-taught by Chris Kent
Face recognition, Google maps and importing PDF files are some of the cool new features in iPhoto '09. We'll also discuss ways to tag and organize your photos that will make them easier to access via the "media browser" in most of the iLife and iWork apps. Learn to make customized slideshows and share photos on the web and in print. You will need to have iPhoto 6 or later.

The newest version of iMovie is more polished and has some amazing features. Come learn how to use them.

Whether you need a simple note, a flyer, or a travel journal - Pages can handle all your writing needs.

Sunday morning

Troubleshooting and Optimizing
-taught by Michael Pearce
In this class you will learn how to best install updates and upgrades, handle certain slowdowns and startup crashes and otherwise diagnose and avoid problems before you get into real trouble.

Keynote
-taught by Rory Bowman
You don't have to be making a business presentation to use Keynote. Organize and display any information in a slideshow that is easy to prepare.
