MEETING TIGER LEARN TO GET AROUND
Learn about dock basics, menus, folders, navigating, and connections. This class is the foundation for the rest of the series.

SETTING PREFERENCES FINDING FILES
Learn how to customize your desktop and dock. Learn the options that can be utilized using System Preferences.

INSTALL, OPEN, CLOSE, QUIT
Learn how to install a program or update and how to open applications. Closing and quitting are different; learn how.

EMAIL AND INTERNET
Learn the basics of email programs and how to use a web browser. If time permits, iTunes will be discussed.

BASIC WORD PROCESSING
Learn to use a word procession program by exploring Text Edit that all Macs have. Basic cut, copy and paste functions will be explained. Using Font Book and Tabs will be covered. Other hints to avoid disaster will be explained.

APPLE TREASURES FREE APPLE PROGRAMS
Learn many of the extra programs that come with Tiger. Exposé, Calculator, Preview, and QuickTime. Look at iCal and the Address Book.

Messages are picked up about twice a week, and you may not receive a call back unless the class is full or cancelled.
