PMUG's award winning monthly journal, Mouse Tracks, is mailed to subscribed PMUG members. This locally written and published magazine includes many articles including product reviews, Macintosh news, user tips, and club news. It's a great way to learn about, and contribute to, the local Macintosh community. Contact Janet DeVore at janet_devore@pmug.org to volunteer.

Requirements for Cover Artwork
If you'd like to submit artwork for the cover, please abide by the following submission requirements:
The main requirement is that the creation is done on a Mac. We are limited to a single color budget except for an occaisional four-color issue. If you have color art to submit, you may want to save a copy first and convert it to greyscale to see how it translates. The cover trims at 8 1/4 by 11. If we add the bleed on three sides, that adds up to 8 3/8 by 11 1/4. If your art takes up the full cover, you must take into consideration the Mouse Tracks masthead at the top. You don't want anything critical in your art being covered up. If the art would be a smaller center piece we can create a great background to complement it. Before we get to your high-res submission, we need lo-res examples of the submissions sent to submissions@pmug.org. The lo-resolution images should be 72 dpi saved as jpeg at high quality. The final film output is at 266 dpi so your hi-resolution art has to be at least that resolution. If you need more info, contact the editor at submissions@pmug.org The placing of the Mouse Tracks masthead over the finished cover is one of the last things that will be done prior to sending the file to the service bureau.
