August 13th General Meeting – Cool Custom Slide Shows with Keynote
August 1st, 2018 by jyamada

Our August general meeting features Chris Kent, President of the Corvalis Macintosh Users Group. If you missed her popular “Keynote for iPad” class at MacCamp last April, this is your chance to learn her useful techniques for the Mac version. At it’s heart, Keynote is a big slideshow creator – more powerful and easier to use than PowerPoint. In this presentation, you’ll learn how to create a simple slideshow with titles, photos, text on photos, slide transitions and more. You will be surprised how good Keynote’s built in tools can make your slide shows look!

Come join us at the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center (Ecotrust Center), 721 NW Ninth Avenue. [Apple Maps] [Google Maps] Question and answer hour starts at 6:30pm, with the main discussion starting around 7:30 pm and ending at 9 pm.
If you find that you want to divest yourself of your old Apple hardware to make way for something new and shiny then you can bring up to 5 items to swap at the meeting.
