Apr 17th, 2019 by Loren Leed

Cartoon of worker with hard hatPut on your hard hats and grab a screwdriver (actually, PMUG will provide the tools) as we take a look at how construction practices have changed on Apple’s hardware over the years. Find out why apple has been accused of making their devices less upgradable and hear about what the trade off is. The group will break into teams to actually take apart real Macs and see what’s inside.

Come join us at the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center (Ecotrust Center), 721 NW Ninth Avenue. [Apple Maps] [Google Maps] Question and answer hour starts at 6:30pm, with the main discussion starting around 7:30 pm and ending at 9 pm.
