October 8th General Meeting – Kristin Parks presents Genealogy for People with Ancestors
Sep 26th, 2018 by Loren Leed

If you’ve ever wondered what people find so captivating about genealogy, this is the presentation for you. Kristin Parks (representing the Genealogical Forum of Oregon) will dive into the topic “Genealogy for People with Ancestors”. This will be a quick look at the best ways to discover your past utilizing Mac based tools, but there is far more to genealogy besides statistics and records. If you like puzzles or stories, don’t miss this presentation!

Come join us at the Jean Vollum Natural Capital Center (Ecotrust Center), 721 NW Ninth Avenue. [Apple Maps] [Google Maps] Question and answer hour starts at 6:30pm, with the main discussion starting around 7:30 pm and ending at 9 pm.

If you find that you want to divest yourself of your old Apple hardware to make way for something new and shiny then you can bring up to 5 items to swap at the meeting.
